Cupa  Cofaidh is in Muthill, a charming Perthshire village, 2 miles south of  Crieff. Muthill was founded by the Culdee monks who had established a community here by the 700s. The oldest building in Muthill is the tower of the old church which probably dates back to the 1000s. Muthill Village Museum, located in a white-rendered building backing on to the old church yard, provides an insight into the background and history of this Strathearn village. Drummond Castle Gardens are one of the finest formal gardens and can be found half a mile north of the village. There are many attractive walks in the area.
